In the remaining space in KINTEX, KINTEX collaborates with local social enterprises to hold a kimchi-making event with local residents. Kimchi is provided to the underprivileged families in the local community.
Home Country Visits for Multicultural Families
KINTEX provides opportunities to visit hometowns for multicultural families who have been unable to visit their home countries for a long time due to economic difficulties. We are carrying out activities such as subsidizing the cost of visiting multicultural families in their home countries and inviting them to KINTEX-organizing exhibitions in their home countries.
Inviting Local Children to KINTEX Events
KINTEX provides opportunities to experience events held in KINTEX for underprivileged children in our local community by supporting the cost of experiencing events held at the exhibition hall. We will do our best to provide more children with good-quality cultural experience opportunities.
HOLT Volunteer Program
KINTEX is creating a culture of sharing and coexistence through the voluntary participation of employees in volunteer activities. We visit welfare facilities such as Holt Ilsan Welfare Center to support meals, help children to play, and clean the facilities.
Janghang Wetland Cleaning Volunteer Program
We are carrying out environmental conservation activities at the KINTEX level to practice 2050 carbon neutrality and respond to climate change. KINTEX executives and staffs are participating in the cleanup activities at Janghang Wetland, which is registered as a Ramsar Wetland.
KINTEX practices Shared Management for the underprivileged. Together with KINTEX employees, welfare groups, and volunteers, we make dumplings for the holidays and share them with the underprivileged, such as the elderly living alone.
Every year at the end of the year, KINTEX conducts a briquette sharing service for the underprivileged in the district. KINTEX employees directly participate and donate briquettes to basic livelihood recipients and senior citizens living alone in Goyang.
