‘Setting up a sturdy cornerstone of profit-making with an unswerving mindset’
Greetings to all. This is Jae Yul Lee, the 9th President of Korea International Exhibition Center. I would like to extend my hearty welcome to all those visiting the official website of KINTEX. Jointly invested by Central Government, Gyeong Gi Province, and Goyang City, KINTEX is Korea’s representative exhibition center with nation’s largest exhibit space.
Critically analyzing both internal and external situation, KINTEX is confronted by various grave missions including but not limited to fierce competition among exhibition centers triggered by their continuous expansion, domestic and international economic downturn, and strong external request for ESG & Carbon neutral management.In a prompt response to these managerial environment, all KINTEX employees are devoting ourselves to wisely overcoming these difficult times.
First and foremost, we will set up a cornerstone of profit-making management. KINTEX has to thoroughly prepare itself for rapidly changing future in order not to fall behind in global competition. By improving KINTEX brand show’s profitability and developing high value businesses, we will create a stable and long-lasting profit-making management structure.
We will attract more globally renowned exhibitions & conventions. It is undeniable that Korea does not have exhibitions that are highly and globally recognized events such as CES in USA, MWC in Spain, and IFA in Germany. We will bring Korea’s MICE industry to another level by attracting more global exhibitions and conventions.

We will plan and implement Digital Renovation. It is true that face-to-face marketing activities constituted a major part of conventional MICE industry. However, Contactless events have recently emerged due to Covid-19 outbreak. In a strategic effort to follow up with this unavoidable trend, KINTEX will adopt and fully utilize the cutting-edge digital infrastructure to every field of our works.
We will turn ourselves into Exhibition Center well embracing MZ generation. More cultural events that young generations may enjoy and participate in will be elaborately prepared and organized so that this venue will be loved by MZ generation.

Many significant milestones of national importance such as KINTEX Phase-III development, IICC Operation in New Delhi, and Jamsil MICE complex operation are ahead of us. In this light, we are looking forward to your support and affection that give a strong fillip to what we will be doing.
