KINTEX was established through a joint initiative of the Government of the Republic of Korea, Gyeonggi Province and Goyang City. Since the opening of KINTEXⅠ in 2005, KINTEX has grown alongside the Korean MICE industry for over two decades. Today, it serves as a strategic public platform that connects industry, cities and national competitiveness contributing to Korea’s export-driven economy and industrial advancement.
KINTEX now stands on the crucial phase of time. In the midst of intensifying global competition, we are advancing major infrastructure projects—including KINTEXⅢ, KINTEX operated hotel and a multi-level parking complex—that will significantly redefine our operational scale and role. The strategic decisions and actions taken during this period will have a lasting impact on the future of KINTEX.

My career in public-sector leadership—spanning management, finance and crisis response—has reinforced one fundamental belief: sustainable solutions are found in the field. Guided by these managerial principles, I am committed to listening closely to operational realities and translating insight into measurable outcomes and meaningful progress.
KINTEX is more than just an exhibition venue. It is a public MICE platform that links industrial development with urban and national growth. The expertise and experience cultivated by our professionals on the ground have been instrumental in advancing Korea’s exhibition and convention industry. As CEO, I will work to ensure that this collective capability continues to generate both public value and sustainable competitiveness through responsible and transparent management.
